Merry Christmas Everyone!
I wanted to take some time and just let everyone know who visit the website, that God is good! He is good all the time. This has been a great year for growth, new converts and restoration. My prayer is that each and everyone of you will pray for us in 2009 that the work of restoration and healing would continue. I am believing for more new converts, more lives to be changed by the power of God. What a great Christmas gift that would be.
I wanted to give you an update on the family. I have been questioned numerous times about the family and I just wanted to include it in this years Christmas blog. First, I thank God for all of my family. From the oldest to the youngest I am proud. Glenda is working a new shift at Union hospital. She is working 3 twelve hour shifts rather than 5 eights. The days are longer but it gives her a couple extra days at home. It also makes her as nocternal as I am...lol. It has been a long time since we have had the same type shifts. It will help us in many ways and yet it will interupt her participation in some night events. I still count it a blessing. We believe that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to his will. I have two wonderful grandsons, Mason and Connor. I am so proud of them, at some point I will include some pics so that you will see those handsome guys. Shawna, Martin and Connor are in Indianapolis and God is blessing them. They have a real estate business that is being very successful, even in these tough times. God is faithful to his servants and they serve the Lord with gladness. Tiffany and Chris are living in Memphis, Chris has his "dream job" with Duck's Unlimited, writing and working in the area of conservation for America's duck population. Tiff is working for a Pharmaceutical company. Wesley and Whitney are still living in New Richmond, Indiana. Wesley works for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Dept, in corrections. Whit is finishing her doctorate in veterinary studies. She will graduate in May as Dr. Whitney Camp, yehaw. Wes will be happy to have his wife back from school almost 24/7. Whit will love her chosen profession as a Vet. Ryan and Mason are living here with us for the time being. Ryan has a new job with the Navy. He is recruiting in Terre Haute and the surrounding areal. It is a blast having him and Mason at our house. It is always a circus. Angie is still playing softball for the Olney Blue Knights, she is starting in center field and playing catcher much of the time. She hit .333 in fall ball and is excited to get her sore shoulder back in shape for spring ball. She will be home for much of the holidays and that is always fun. Gus will leave Dec.3o for boot camp with the Indiana Air National Guard. He will be with a group who will support special forces around the world directing ordinance on enemy targets. We are very proud of him, and his brothers and one sister and a brother in law,are serving their country. I pray for all of them daily. Chris, Tiffany and Gus will all be a part of the Indiana Air National Guard stationed in Terre Haute. Mom and Dad are excited to have the kids, grandkids and great grandkids around. They make chocolate gravy and biscuits for Tiff and Ange on demand almost...lol. They help us in many areas at Family Worship Center and they are a blessing.
The new year is coming and I am praying that 2009 will be even greater than 08. If you are here please come regularly to the house of God. Support us with your tithe and your offerings and help us win the lost in the coming year. Merry Christmas to all and very Happy New Year.
